| Quote: KaeruJim "Don't you big growler? We could do them in a one-off game for sure but all depends on personnel.
Everyone's always confident at this time of year before the season kicks off, but I'm expecting big seasons from several of our lads. Walmsley is a bit of a freak but Mik could be the competition's best prop this year (taking into account workrate too). Cam Smith has been looking smooth in pre-season. Sezer is arguably the best 7 in SL. Our right centre/wing looks a handful.
Been a long time since I looked at a Leeds squad and thought a) there are a few man-of-steel contenders in there and b) there are a significant number of lads who should be selected for England.
I dunno, we are a couple of players short of me being cocky about the season, but still this is a very different Leeds team beginning 2022 compared to last year. We look significantly better and better prepared. Whether we've made up that 30 point gap with Saints in the big games... ??'"
Youve covered every base there Jimbo. Very non-commital.this year lad

Looking at those props I'd say we need to prioritise two senior props, not one. Far too many question marks over the others - Holroyd (very injury prone and mixed form when he does play) Lisone (good impact player on his day, but not a starter), Sangare (hasn't improved since he arrived) Hudson (hasn't played a single SL game) TNW (completely unproven and a bit on the small side). Can't take a chance this time round.

| Quote: Jrrhino "Not had much of an update since my last one a month or so ago obviously everyone has been rocked by the news of Rob since then and are still healing from the devastating news.
Brad Arthur is leading the race to be new head coach but the club is just holding off at the moment just incase anyone else shows an interest or becomes available.
Not heard anything on in regards to the enforcer we are looking at to add to our pack for next season Josh Papali'i and Jarred Wallace we're both offered deals, Tom Amone has obviously got a deal with Canterbury back in NRL.
Ian Blease has made made his first resigning at the club he's extended Leon Ruan's contract til the end of the 2026 season which I'm pleased about Ruan needs to be given a consistent chance in team because he has the potential to be a handy player for us.'" Good news on Ruan
