Created chances in the first half but not so good second half.
No creativity in midfield especially with Dallas playing LB.
James does a tremendous amount of running but is wasted as a 9.
As for Audrey why do we persist in bringing him on?
Messlier for me got his wall wrong as Shelvey was able to place in the corner even then Messlier should have saved it.

Should of beaten Newcastle especially as they lost 3 of their players during the game due to injury.
I actually went 1-1.
We are still a bottom 6 team and need to be picking up wins in that mini league against teams that are below us.

Leeds need Bamford back or another striker signed soon. James looks a poor finisher for mine.
I worry longer term what happens with the SF 49ers influence and ownership. Their owners have a far more chequered past than most if not all American owners of football clubs in the UK

I think this just supports what everyone on here said, it's problem throughout football.
The team is in desperate need of some additions. We don't get the best from Dallas at LB (I was surprised we let Davis go out on loan, would have been a good back up). When James is named up front, you know it'll be a struggle to get goals. From the lineup, Rodrigo should be playing as the striker with James out wide and Raphinha more central |

Couldn`t agree more mate.
I thought Davis would make a cracking LB and so did Kalvin Phillips btw.
Rodrigo or Gelhardt as the 9 and leave James to play on the wing.
Dallas is no more a left back then Alioski was.
Hjelde did well against West Ham why drop him and lose that creativity from Dallas in the middle.
I get what Bielsa says that why sign someone who is not as good as what we have.
But what we have get injured, suspended or don`t perform hence why strength in depth helps you rotate players.
To me it`s not rocket science.

Think I`m quite critical sometimes on team selection and Mr Bielsa and no doubt upset a few.
But I tend to post at the heat of the moment and need to think it through more.
I`m sure my fellow supporters will be back soon ready for the Villa and Everton games especially if Lampard gets the gig at the Toffees. |
