They don’t enjoy it anymore. While I will pick and choose my games, when I can’t get clients to come for a free evening with a meal and drink, it says a lot to me. From what I have heard McGuire has really impressed at KR and is a natural. Obviously he has no head coach experience which possibly would count against him. However every head coach has to start somewhere.
I do think there have been some really good gambles in recent years on Australian assistant head coaches and that is why Carr would probably have an advantage.
I am sure the club will have an idea of of who they want. It might be a case of when he might be available.

Ryan Carr seems a very able young coach but Leeds is a big job for anyone. Maggsy not for me at this time.

Ryan Carr, I think if I had a few more years of experience coaching the top division team would be a great opportunity to look at but has only managed Fev and been some form of assistant at West Tigers.

I'd have my eyes on Paul Anderson.
