| Quote: Seth "Absolutely, he's come a long way through the years and it's a huge credit to him. I've seen him come through the age groups having coached against him when he was at Hunslet for many years and he really jumped up a level around the 16s. Likewise, even a couple of inches would make a difference (no innuendo intended). Hope he does carve out a career.'"
Thought he looked good last night, not overly concerned by his lack of size/height, he could still fill out wider and stronger, still young, could do another full year on loan, Fev or another Super League club regular rugby over next year or so well tell us more. I would not right him off yet. And size us over rated luck at Sam Walters 6’7” and Soft Mitch achurch mark 2, id start Muiz over him to be fair.

| I’ve been saying I’d let L Briscoe go - not because I don’t like him hit because I think we have one or two young players I’d rather have in the team looking forward.
But he is pretty physical and I thought he was very good last night. Happy either way with him.
Sad to see Hurrell’s last home game. But he did do another brain fart thing just to remind me why. Great entertainment though and there’s nobody else like him.

Odd one briscoe, he’s average but reliable, and at his stage is better then Tom and a reliable back up, but both should not be first choice in a team with title ambitions, unless we sign a ready made starter both will be here next tear, if the younger players coming though, Hall Tindel etc. Cannot unseat either Briscoe next year for the other wing/back up wing then are they even good enough at this level?

| Enjoyed the game last night.
Lui showed what having a proper half can do. Sometimes you forget we have been playing different people every week and a good number out of position at 6&7.
I do not understand those who don’t rate Smith, to me he is exactly what a 13 should be. We look a lot better when he is on the field.
If we have Gale, sezer, Austin, Walker and myler next year then I think we will have good options and if we can get any kind of good ball we should be dangerous.
Playing smith at 13 does allow Tet to play as a prop, but we do still need another prop in the squad. Thompson is here for another year so as a 6th choice prop I can deal with it.
Interesting to see who comes back for Wigan. If Mik, King, Tetevano and Mellor come back then the pack looks big and powerful. If Gale comes back with lui then we should have more control and if Hurrell starts we aren’t far away from 1-13 in squad numbers.
