Agreed - he should not start . After 12/ 15 minutes , he is gassed . Time to start with King and if we need , bring Thompson off the bench .

What impact off the bench would Thompson offer tho? At least King offers some injection off the bench but he is being underused. He came on at Wakey and made a nice break but nobody had any energy to go with him.

You want your subs to come on and improve the team. Thompson is solid but would he offer anything off the bench?

If it were me I'd be seeking an early release for Thompson; I doubt he's on much salary but it's another quota spot and for me he is Championship level at this stage in his career.

Yep, that combo of leeming and Dwyer in those positions really affects things. Not that kruis has done bad in the halves but he's the better distributor from dh and we lose Dwyer's impact from the bench
