Tbf we had no chance with the forward pack we were forced to go with really due to Injuries, Suspension & Covid, that must have been our lightest pack in history! Newman looked very sharp and played well for a player just coming back from a double leg break after 10 months. It was always going to be a up hill task like I said last week if we can get a break with Injuries & Covid we'll be there or there abouts at end of season big game against Salford next week at Headingley!

Teams knackered missing big bodies in hot weather. Move on

Losing the game over there is almost predictable, it’s the manner of the defeat that’s disappointing. Got absolutely smashed down the middle in the second half with a mass of penalties and errors.

First half was very good, and clearly we put everything we had into it hoping to hang on

It’s clear some players are knackered, and hopefully they don’t play next week as we need some fit healthy bodies in the coming weeks.
