Seibold would be a great appointment especially if Agar moves up to DOR. Highly rated coach but was in a toxic set up at the Broncos which is still proving to be a problem now.

The Telegraph article says Agar has accepted the Cronulla offer. Although given it's Rothfield reporting it's not exactly nailed on.

Well i for one am pleased he’s staying around, hes s very knowledgeable guy and the players obviously enjoy working with him

His role looks to be changing though.

Good news he is staying imo. He has done a good job and the future is looking better than for a few years. I would be more than happy for him to over see the development of the young players coming through.

Have to say what a confusing and farcical press release by the club. Everything now is crystal clear.......laughable.

Yeah I read it as he’s by no means definitely the coach next year.. but highly likely…. Lol

These occasional press releases which are clearly the product of Hetherington shouting down the phone at Phil Daly and ending it with, "now send it out like that right now!" are things to treasure.
