It was such a shame when he quit because he's the best hooker we've had coming through since Matt Diskin. Jack Sinfield reminds me of Johnson a little bit too - different position obviously but he's another one who just seems to have time and space on the ball. Rare you see players like that.

According to Leeds Live we're definitely making our interest in Sezer known. I'd be pretty happy with that personally, depending on cost. Would love to see Leeds' list of targets!

Bit frustrating that wages are mentioned as a blocker. If we want a top class half we'll have to pay the going rate. Need to get a top half for next year and Sezer fits the bill.

We also need to get value for money even out of all our squad members, especially those on marquee money.

For a 6 next year, out of those playing in SL currently, the options are Trueman, Williams, Sezer or Austin (that I've seen linked). You would imagine Sezer is probably the highest paid of those currently, and would be the highest paid of those to come across. The club still need to be pretty smart about this one for me...

Agree they need to be smart, but they can't afford to cheap. Cut costs on a half and you end up with a Lolahia. Personally I think we'll pay what we need to like we did with Tetavano, but not before us fans are worrying that we've missed the boat.

Leeds live are reporting we may be in for Tom Lineham. I've got mixed feelings about this one. He's no world beater, and is prone to an error, but do we need a world beater in every position? If it's up to him T. Briscoe and Handley to compete for the wing spots, maybe it's a good move.
