I’d play Thompson tonight and give Gannon a rest. A fit overseas quota player should be in a weakened 17. If not what is the point of signing them up.

I’d like to see Agar revert to some of the ‘not putting square pegs in round holes’ approach that was advocated in the earlier rounds until some cohesion is built and there’s an answer to the halves. The approach was much more positive, though that said the formulaic way the game is played these days frustrates me (especially when that formula is so badly executed) and I’m expecting more of the same. I’d also say that yardage is good but they also need to create more down the middle to create disruption that’ll help in good ball, ie move the ball more.

As you were though Handley out so Broadbent at centre. Well, sticking to his guns with no changes to a poor team last week a response is needed.
