| Think you may stand a good chance against us. We are missing a fair few and with the cup game the week after I doubt Powell will risk anyone. Mcshane came off for us against Wire at the weekend and we had Sene Lefao in the centres not to mention Evalds missing so our back line is awful at the mo. Had you been playing us last night I think you'd have scored a bucketful.

Although Tindall has a lot to learn defensively, he deserves a chance following the Briscoe's efforts. He should add a bit of speed to the side also.
If Alex Sutcliffe or Newman were fit, I would be playing them at centre ahead of Hurrell.
Likewise, as soon as McLelland or Lui are fit, they would come straight in for Sutcliffe who I would then move to centre.
Hopefully Holroyd due back soon and O'Connor can consider himself unlucky to miss out.

| Quote Trebor1="Trebor1"That’s a good point. Thinking about this further, I wouldn’t sack Agar unless there’s someone out there who’s a huge upgrade and mid season that’s unlikely. Unless we really do get into a relegation battle I’d just replace him next year. I don’t wish the sacking on the guy I quite like him and we owe him gratitude for steadying the ship and winning the cup last year but he’s got to get results.'"
I understand what you are saying, but they are not playing for Agar. He comes out with the same excuses every week, we are playing dumb rugby. You can only coach players if they want to be coached, last night suggested they wasn't being coached, We need someone like JC in charge because at the moment we need to some kind of miracle for the next three games.

You know you are struggling when Cas fans are being kind to you.

Did you have a word with GH last night? Any news on the search for a six?

A team not playing for a coach doesnt put in the effort we are putting in every week. I dont thinl anyone can question the commitnent to the cause again last night. Though i admit there are things to question.

| Again I'm looking forward to this one, there'll be a fair bit of passion in it I think.
Agree with Christopher and some others above: changing coach now won't help anything unless we're forced into it. I really can't see us getting dragged too far into relegation territory but we can't afford to be complacent obviously.
Agar has done a really good job in parts. I think he needs better players who can create something on the field - he's not coaching players to drop the ball and make brain explosion decisions. Personally there are too many variables in the mix to identify one area as The Thing... on the whole the side has played with commitment under Agar since he took over. We're pretty tough but we just don't have the cutting edge.

| There are times when it feels like a proper performance is almost within grasp - frustrating as f*** waiting for it to happen though.
I agree the players are trying their hardest for Agar. But I'm not sure those efforts are being particularly well directed.

Hull was the first game we've had a credible first team out, and we're still missing a starting centre, fullback and stand off.
It's frustrating. We're not where we should be at this stage. It's fair that we have been knackered by an injury crisis running even through pre-season this year though, and we're now playing catch-up.
I don't think we have done well enough, don't get me wrong - some of our last tackle plays without Gale cycled between non-existent and laughable and that's not good enough for full-time pros at this level.
We will learn more over the next few weeks if, fingers crossed, we can keep the squad generally healthy.

By the time he returned to the suite last night people was leaving, it did not help because it was a Sunday evening. Don’t worry, I will speak to him. He is approachable and will discuss things if the criticism is constructive.
He is aware of the performances and issues with what is happening. Deep down he is a genuine bloke both being a director and a supporter.
I will reply after the next home game.
