I don’t know what people are expecting? Have you seen the team we have out? Loads of effort and loads of graft but we didn’t have the skills to make better kicks or apply pressure.
Saints have dominated teams up front for a couple of years, we matched them up front I thought. When we have some players back we will look a lot better.


Hate it when we don’t win but I was actually really impressed by how we applied ourselves in that game given the team we had available.

The young lads all fared pretty well too.
Alex Sutcliffe gets better every game, done his chances no harm.
Another good cameo from Gannon as well - a glimpse of the future.
But ultimately, Thaler decided the game.

We did as well as we could have expected, with a few more back we can challenge this year.

You cannot fault the effort from the lads in that game, did anyone seriously expect us to be within 2 points of them with a minute to go especially after going down to 12 men

Very proud of team today with the amount of players we had missing about 12/13 players missing is unbelievable really but it is what it is. We pushed saints for the whole 80 Oledzki, Leeming, Dwyer never stopped trying and Dwyer gets stick for his headless chicken stiff but he never stops trying. The Tetevano red card was a joke Thaler basically give us no chance with that call, it's probably a bit late but he was committed I think and there was no contact with head so how he thinks it's a read I do not know. Losing Vuniyayawa made it even harder as well hope he doesn't have too many ill effects. End of day everyone on Rugby league would have thought saids would score 80 points today not win by just 8 points and need a try in 79th Min to seal it. Great effort hopefully we start getting bodies back instead of losing them. When we're near full strength we'll be a real strong team and compete with anyone.

Thaler had no choice on that red card, bit bizarre to see it being challenged.
Great performance and Agar's game plan was perfection really with what he had available. Hard to know what more he could have asked of them.

If that is a red, then there will a lot of them.
Happens multiple times in every game.
Problem is that it won't be applied consistently.
