i don't think its a bad thing at all. would be great to see a heritage round every year with the clubs wearing an old strip. is it just SL era? it doesn't say on the link. i love the traditional shirt from the 80's with youngers sponsor and of the pre SL 90's efforts i liked both the 94' Carling thin stripes and then the 95' Tetley Bitter more traditional style.

A heritage round is such an obvious, easy thing to do that it's insane it's never been implemented.

My only complaint would be that the shirts are made of Polyester not cotton. Even at higher prices I'd bet the cotton ones would have sold well raising more income (and therefore profit) for the club / OXEN.

Because they look like cheap knockoffs, if you are going to do it do it properly, the 2000 shirt especially was actually quite a well put together shirt when it was out, decent materials, stitched on logo and main sponsor on, this is just cheap sublimated crap.

I'm all for retro shirts (maybe don't release 3 at once though) but make them from quality materials and faithful to the original.

The Watersplash shirts they released in the early Noughties were absolutely outstanding both in detail and finish.

You'll find I am one of the least moany people on here, however, cheap poorly made and designed tat is one of my exceptions.


Oxen has designed and produced 9 shirts in less than a year and every one of them has been rather poor

Everyone seems to love them on Facebook. I'm pretty sure at the time though everyone hated the quarters and the stars kits. Just shows that if you repackage something and shove the word "retro" on it you can sell anything

If they do the 94 and 99 jerseys I'd be all over them though. Especially the white and yellow 94 away Jersey. That was my first ever kit as a young Kid.
