A couple of thoughts:
1. I'm a very big fan of Ash. Even in the earlier days when people on here were still writing him off, you could never knock his effort. We should really admire his knack for being in the right place at the right time, and he seemed very consistent in terms of performance and energy when the team were really struggling for both in the darker days.
2. I enjoyed Ash providing a little snippet about Big Mac's man management style. Would love to hear much much more of these sorts of stories!
3. The Wayne Bennett story only reinforces my original opinion that WB was completely wrong for the GB and England role. Very very pleased he's been replaced by Shaun Wane, although it's a shame covid has meant SW hasn't actually been
able to actually do anything with the team since starting.....'"
