he has had lots of near misses, i'm thinking the header late against west ham from point blank where he should score, brighton on saturday from 5 yards out and i'm sure there are a couple more like that i can't recall the exact games and the two that hit the bar against nal. he could easily have 8 goals right now.
you can see he has the class but its true he has gone off the boil a bit lately but so have most of the team. when we are in full flow as a team which is more often than not we will see him come good imo.

What worries me apart from our lack of goals is that our pressing game seems to have gone.
At one time we would have 3 players around their man cutting off their supply.
But lately that looks to have disappeared and it certainly can`t be down to fatigue as we haven`t played that much and only have the league to worry about.
Against Brighton you would have thought after their recent games we would have had too much energy than them.
Anyway good see Llorente back playing today in the 23`s..

I had that game as a 1-1 and didn`t expect Liverpool to lose.
They are treading the same path as us.
Can`t score, have our regular centre halves missing and full backs who can no longer cross a decent ball and a centre forward who needs 5 attempts per game to score


A win on tuesday night will help.
A loss might knock our confidence even further.

I've never really managed to really get into NFL. I like watching the highlights, and the Americas game documentary on sky are great, but it's too stop start for me. But I would love to see a NFL style structure in SL, and I'd like to see a similar salary cap/revenue distribution too.

lets say it how it is they are bloody awful and offer very little going forward as long as we don't offer them gifts like we did at ER. it does look like Bruce has lost the dressing room so an early goal and i can see a west brom style thumping and Bruce to be sacked by morning. anything less than a win would be a poor result.

Looking at our strongest 11 taking Forshaw and Koch out of the equation and we don`t look too bad.
It`s our lack of strength in depth that does us.
I would like us to sign a LB and Danny Rose would do nicely for me.

Yep couldn’t agree more re strength in depth. We don’t have the quality to bring in. Leeds know that. I’m sure it’ll be improved in the summer
