I would go all out for Liam Watts if Thompson wants too much money.
Him and Battye would be my choice.
Whilst a FB is down the pecking order it is a position that if good enough can be the difference of winning or losing trophies.
I`m not saying we only need a FB as prop is our main target without doubt.

Cas would rather see Watts run out in blue and white hoops before sell their prize possession to Leeds. Given the clubs gloomy utterances about the impact Covid has had on finances, pigs will be taking flight before GH forks out a transfer fee in any case. Tetavano, if true, is this years big investment. If Ava goes we'll have to be in the market again but not for a player at the Thompson/Watts level. Alvaro (who has now joined for St George) would have fitted the bill. I think we'll go for a solid journeyman in the Ava mold. Hopefully the club already have someone in mind.

I just hope Ava stays because if we have secured Tetevano, we would have a really solid front row rotation there for the first time in an absolute age. If not it's 1.5 steps forward and 1 back again.

I hope we dont sign a prop on marquee money. Next season we are going to need a 6 (we probably need one now) once Lui's deal is up and to me thats where the marquee money should be spent.

Why don’t we do a Warrington or Catalans a Wigan or a Hull and have lots of big earners!
I can never work out how we broke the cap the other year(albeit a technicality) and others seem to spend big and get away with it. We must be missing a trick.
