Giants are due to announce the signings of Ricky Leutele, Josh Jones and Luke Yates so not sure how much cap space we will have left

Giants appear to be building a handy side.
I would be happy if we can put the Ava rumours to bed one way or another and sign Tetavano plus a replacement for Ava or keep him and one other like Battye or similar.
Anything less and we are going to struggle up front.

I reckon Ava will go.that leaves us needing a minimum of 2 props.i just cant see us getting 3 whether we need them or not.

I totally get the 5 props arguement. But for me personally I'd have 4 (5 including prior) and look for something different in the second row.if we could get a genuinely big athletic second rower who is versatile then that would give us an option on match day that we don't have.im not aware of the money available or which irons we have in the fire but for me we missed a trick on greenwood.

I wonder if we'll go for five props (including Prior) and then try and make the Harrison (from Fev) loan deal permanent. He could potentially cover prop and 2nd row. Still seems like we have a long way to go to get things in place if Ava is going.

What’s the news on Walters? Marty mentioned something without actually saying anything a few days ago.

No idea,but he seems to know what he's on about and posts like that don't generally seem to result in good news.

Has Walters been mentioned. Only thing I've seen is about Mclelland?

On a different thread marty said that he'd heard some potentially bad news about Walters (or words to that effect). I think it was the stevie ward thread about a fortnight ago.
