There are people thinking Lewis Hamilton should be made a Sir. The richest man in sport, a tax exile who pays little or no tax to this country.
Kevin Sinfield should be way in front of him for a Knighthood. a man rich in humanity and a truly decent guy for all he has done unselfishly. But he is a Northern RL player, so guess who will get the Gong. Well done Sir Kevin.

I think Kev already has been given a city of Leeds award, but not freedom of the city . Correct me if I'm wrong. I think he should be given The Freedom of The City .

Leeds all time highest point scorer. Captained Leeds to 7 titles, 3 league leaders shields, 2 challenge cups and 3 world club challenges. Won the golden boot award, 2x harry sunderland trophy, 1x lance todd trophy. He has now run 7 marathons in consecutive days all under 4 hours raising over £2m. If that does not deserve a knighthood, then I do not know what does.

He may not be the best ultra runner but did the ulta runner captain a team to all those titles and personal accolades? Has that ultra runner raised over £2m for charity and raised a considerable more amount of awareness for the cruel disease?

You seem to be spectacularly missing the point, its not just about the running the marathons its that ontop of why he’s done it and what it has raised.

Oh and what Ollie holmes has done has been fantastic too, but im sure theres better cyclists than him too eh?
