Its bizarre that people think they have a right to something they used to pay for and which costs money to produce. Once the YEP has gone there will be no independent full time journalist covering Leeds RL. You'll have saved your couple of quid a week but we'll be left solely with the club's propaganda to rely on. Pete Smith is part of the Clubs propaganda machine & firmly part of GH's inner PR circle anyway.
His general RL articles are very good but wrt the Club he prints what the Club want him to.

Not a chance, Newman is almost there, he is class. Hurrell is prone to mistakes but he is a fan favourite and can be devastating. Watkins isn’t the player he was.

I personally hope Watkins has a blinder at Salford, just so he can shut some people up. The stick he's gotten over the last couple of years has shocking. He's still only 29 and people talk about him like he's 40.

Think people are absolutely deluded if they think Watkins wouldn't improve our team.
Newman has potential but runs sideways more than forward.
Hurrell does some good things offensively, but also undoes all that but loosing the ball too often. He's also unfit IMHO. Injuries will happen every few games....
