Just started watching the 2018 season opener at Warrington. Only two years ago but already in that starting 13 were moon, hall, ablett, JJB, singleton, Parcel and Watkins who have all gone. It makes you realise the amount of squad movement we have had in the last couple of seasons not to mention 4 hear coaches in that time (albeit Sinny was temporary).

It's no wonder we have been all at sea and this is why I believe you are unlikely to see a lot of new faces coming in, even if we do lose a few. We will rely on youth to fill the gaps as our first 13 is pretty strong.

This is just pure speculation by myself and going off the players who we have been rumoured to leave and player who have been rumoured to come into us for next season i think our squad could possibly look something like this. The blank numbers could be filled by more Academy players or other singings coming in. I think Dwyer and T.Briscoe will get 1 year extensions out of the players who are off contract and think Ward, Myler, Cuthbertson, Albert, Evans and L.Sutcliffe will be moved on and who knows what will happen with Crosby.

It doesn’t look too bad if everyone is fit and the youth take their chance.
I’m not sure I Brisco will extend and I doubt Currie will join us but he would be a good addition.
Looking further ahead, we need to look for a old head prop to continue working with the young lads once prior moves on. We could be in for another generation of class players IF they all fulfill their potential.

Currie has signed a new deal with warrington.

Overseas quota changes for next season. No non fed trained anymore, just seven overseas players. Meaning Leeds don’t have to chase Martins passport anymore, as they have the spot open.

So for next season who are currently in Leeds 7?

Yep that looks correct whether we have enough funds to sign 2 more is another matter?

What’s the criteria on whether someone is classed as overseas or not? Does a European passport get someone off the overseas list? Will the likes off Hastings and Coote count as overseas?

I think the pack looks a bit light on class and power to me.
