I know nothing about the guy other than a few people saying he is very quick. Comments like that always worry me. Being a fast runner does not make you a decent rugby player.

I’ve seen him in 7s rugby and looks very capable. Agar rates him so that will do me as he did with a Martin.

I think it’s more to the point that he’s been mentioned a number of times by Pete Smith from YEP, who doesn’t really report on speculation unless he has concrete information.

Agar himself has openly talked about Jai Field.

Aussies have reported a few times we offered him a 2 year deal dependant on Martins passport. When that didnt go through, he signed a short term deal with Parra.

Kevin penny was fast, thats about it, Offiah was very fast but he had a great awareness and decent rugby brain, does nit get enough credit for his ability to read the game, pace aline is not enough

There is a three minute 2019 NSW cup montage of him on utube. A player in the mold of Danny Mags 2003/2004. Great support player with lightening pace and decent handling skills. He's played and starred in junior state of origin and was expected to be one of their next big things. For whatever reason, that hasn't happened, but he is only 22 and the standard for 1st grade NRL halves is much higher than in SL. Clearly signing him would be a risk. We'll get a good chance to have a look at him on Friday morning anyway.

Think they'll be cautious making signings. Could back fire badly though as poor performance loses more money...
