If Ward was to leave this year as he is out of contract at end of 2020 I'd be happy if we went in for someone like Josh Jones and also get another young and up and coming second rower such as James bentley or Matt Whitley, I personally rate Stevie Ward very high as player but his injury record is one of worst in the game along with his games played to games missed ratio the injuries are no fault of his own it's just one of those things but I can see Leeds letting clubs take Ward off our hands and give Gale the captaincy til he retires. Can't see Bateman coming to Leeds pretty sure he's close to agreeing a mega deal to return to Wigan if he can't find a better offer in NRL and Ben Currie has had his injury problems a bit like Ward and Currie is not the same player he was when he burst onto the scene, i can see us going for Joe Greenwood, Josh Jones, James Bentley or Matt Whitley as they could all become available for 2021.

I can see Hall coming back for next year. He played yesterday because of injuries. Once tedesco is fit Morris will be back on the wing. His game time will be limited and can't see another NRL team been that interested to be honest.

As for Ward.. he will only leave Leeds if we don't want him. We will only not want him if we are concerned about his injuries in the long-term as he is a great player when fit. If we are worried about his injuries is Toronto really the right move for him? Mcd is often sighted as a reason for his injuries due to playing him crash and bash. Add in all the travel with Toronto which is never good for injuries and it just doesn't make sense.

Hall back to Leeds next year. Ward, sadly, to retire.

Good time for a parting of the ways. I reckon Stevie himself might prefer a new start, he must surely feel under enormous pressure to come up with the goods. At least if he's injured for Toronto their fans won't set it in the context they would here.

People are saying alot of things on his behalf. I've not heard him say any of these things. Let's all get behind him and back him. I think it's what he needs..........

League Express says Ward deal close and Myler deal is on the table from Toronto. Also states Leeds are interested in bringing Dan Smith back to the club.

Think it would be mad to let him go now. Need to see how he comes back first. I'd be very surprised and disappointed with the club if they are pushing him out.....

Why would we potentially let Stevie and Myler go and bring Smith in? What an underwhelming situation and just screams how cheap do we need to go. Also Merrin looks awful today, really unfit.
