Absolutely.
I have slight sympathy with some of their fans as it wasn’t their fault and they’ve not stuck through some horrible times.
But the club itself doesn’t deserve any sympathy.
Like you say I feel far more sympathy for the companies they left out of pocket including other RL clubs who lost income and potential trophies and who had to pay all their players more because of Bradford spending more than they could afford.
Clubs overspending is often only viewed as if it’s only a problem for that club. It’s not. It affects other clubs and the whole sport.
Leeds 2005 campaign was made harder by Bradford’s overspending, not only on the salary cap but versus their own income. If they’d been spending what they could actually afford then maybe Leeds win that 2005 Grand Final instead?

| Just watched Leeds v London Bronco's played at Brentford in 1995, we snatched defeat from the jaws of victory !
I quite liked Phil Hassan, but Gibbons twins, Paul Cook,Marvin Golden, oh dear !
Didn't realise ( or remember ) Chris McKenna and Ben Walker played for the Bronco's earlier in their careers

| Watching Chris McKenna in these old games, I can't help but think he's exactly the kind of 2nd row he need.

Good player but we are well covered second row. I'd happily take B Mac or Fleary though!

| Would be good if the Leeds YouTube channel didn't put up games where we lose to in the last minute to Brian Noble coached serial salary cap cheats. Just saying.

| Started watching the 2007 grand final last night. What a performance. Two things made a big difference though..
1) that was first game Long had okays in almost 3 months due to injury. He looked wee bit rusty.
2) where was Sculthorpe? Injured I presume but would have made big Dif too.
The way it played out I think that was the game that handed the mantle over to Leeds as the best team in SL for next 10 years. If Saints win that game, they would probably have gone in to dominate like we did......

I watched it too. Enjoyed playing the traditional 'Where's Leon?'' game
I think I spotted him a couple of times.

| Would be interesting to see how many times we were the "bookies" favourite to win a GF. I can't remember as far back as 2004, but we were runaway at the top of the league but Bradford had the pedigree and we didn't. Certainly not in 2007 or 2008. For 2009 we may have been, 2011?, 2012?, 2015?, definitely not in 2017.

Yeah strange one as class player....
Didn't get picked in 2011
Saints went with Gaskell and Lomax, instead of Pryce and Eastmond.
Practically handed the game to us with that call.

| Just watched ' The Syd Hynes lifestory ' on Youtube, fantastic ! Syd and Shoey were, and still are, my all time favourite Leeds players. Loved going to Cas v Leeds games at Wheldon Road,on the Wallace Arnold coach ,usually night games. Full scale battles every time with Syd and the Cas hooker Dickinson usually in the middle of it !! Happy days !!
