| The furlough system is 80% of salary capped at £30K I wonder what how the higher earning members of the squad will be treated.
On a side issue, I've really enjoyed watching some of the Rhinos games from various eras available on well known websites.

Yes interesting to see if they top it up at all (not that we'll ever find out!)
I've furloughed staff but have topped their wages up so they get 100%.

Yes they can, I have done just that.
Employers can pay staff whatever they like but can only claim back 80% or a maximum of £2500 per month per employee

You can almost guarantee that will happen. Which is why us as businesses need to do things as correct as possible. For a start each employee you are claiming for needs entering separately, so you can bet there will be follow ups to those employees to double check that no work took place. Many will be refused I suspect.

I agree, the staff I have furloughed I’ve made it very clear that they can’t do any work, I’ve redirected all their emails and told them to forget about any work until further notice.
No that they would have had much work, which i suppose is the point.
