Well said. During last season the club acted and made some quality signings. I trust that they have more idea of what is needed than people looking through a small window from the outside. And after all, their jobs depending on getting it right.

This time last year everyone was slating the Donaldson signing now everyone praises him despite him not breaking a tackle all season and making about 20 metres a game.

On that basis it wont take much for Evans to win over this fan base.

The alternatives are already at the Club its called a youth policy & giving potential a chance.

He's another option. I'd assume that if one of the youngsters was having a storming season he'd get the chance he'd earned but if no-one was then Evans would be whistled up from the reserves. If it was a 50/50 call I agree the youngster should be given priority.

Stephens Broadbent Hall all deserve a chance this is wasting a wage on a has been journey man.
Also when did Evans play FB?
Some of you are talking like we've unearthed this decent utility outside back the reality is we've signed a part timer who used to be a SL centre that played wing a few times.

Its far too early to be annointing Corey Hall. Iwan Stephens definately could cover wing and full back and Broadbent centre and possibly wing but nobody knows how Tom Briscoe will come back from his ACL. At least Evans has some experience as poor as he is.

Broadbent, Stephens and Hall will all get there chance there 18 and 17 how on earth will they be ready thrown straight in the deep end they need time in reserves and maybe a few sporadic appearances in first team when they can loads of people on her would be calling for there heads if they were making some errors in first team if we threw them in to cover the likes of the T.Briscoe injury let them develop another year physically and there time will come. Evans is on loan to cover our backline we don't have to commit to him if he turns our poor for us when he plays.

Got to say with respect experience means naff all if you arent good enough mate.
T.Briscoe is done imo ,when he's played he isnt half the player he was.
