Interesting in an article about honesty that he insinuates a lot about Leeds without having the gumption to say it, such as "I'm not saying the culture is bad at Leeds but..." and "I'm not saying it was dishonest at Leeds but...". Obvious interpretation of his chat with Sinny was that he was told he wasn't needed and knew it.

It's the right move for all parties. Brian Mac is one of the best coaches in the game and it's horses for courses between player and coach. Singo obviously likes his style.

The squad he inherited wasnt the best tho and he had an incredibly tough start.

Its sad when you hear ex players talking under the word of honesty, (but), candidly here was one player who did not perform last season and his chat with Sinfield no doubt left him with no other option than to leave Leeds, last season he let the club down, the supporters down and himself down. Here is a guy who is still lucky to be playing SL but on his departure under a veiled threat still has a go at the club he left. I could understand any player who wants to play in the NRL leaving any SL club, but to move away from one of the biggest clubs in SL if not the biggest to move to Toronto or any other club in SL are kidding themselves if they think they are a better player and deserve better than what was on offer at Leeds. Singleton I will remember you as no more that what I try and remove from my shoe after walking the dog on the park. Last season you was poor at best and candidly short changed the fans and the club by your underperformance. Good riddance.

Yeah you've got to view it that way with Singleton. He had clearly not been giving his best at Leeds. Sinfield was dead right in his assessment that a lot of the current squad had lost what it meant to play for Leeds.

Didn’t see much from Singleton all season. The only thing of note I remember him doing was getting sent off v Catalans. As it happens it turned out ok but that was an exceedingly stupid thing to do at a vital part of our season.

Should be tasty when we play Toronto then.
He gives me the impression that he can be a bit of a thug with sly off the ball hits and the like.
I`m sure there`s a good player in there and a change of clubs might well bring out the best in him.

Added to the fact Sinfield had a rocky final season under Mac even though we did the treble ,also soon as Sinny get the DOR job Mac was out

Sinfield didn't join until after McDermott was sacked, but I can see where you are coming from, I'm sure Sinfeld's "the club is rotten" comments were aimed at McDermott, although to be fair to Sinfield it seems he was spot on.
