I don't think Myler gets a free pass either. For an international halfback to look so clueless, particularly on the last tackle is terrible.

Yes, he is capable of brilliance sometimes, but he's had more than enough chance to stamp his authority on games this year and just failed to do that, particularly with last tackle options.

He would be an expensive junior coach but if that’s a way to release the quota spot and remain cap compliant, worth considering.

Of course you could. It obviously depends on the team around him but he's twice the player of a Matty Smith, who did alright.

I dunno. Maloney at Leeds plus one more good prop and Leeds could be title contenders again, you’re looking at a very good side then with some talented youngsters not far from debut too - several full England internationals of the future IMO.

I’d live with a Lui-Maloney-McLelland rotation in the halves.
