Also to add Myler is not well thought of and Watkins wanted to leave before Friday but we wouldn’t let him. He had agreed to £100k for next season as part of his deal and he would become a marquee player, but he has never signed the contract so Hetherington took advantage.

In true Kevin Kegan style....I would love it, absolutely love it.....if we have signed Hastings...just cannot see it given it’s rumoured he wanted an NRL release....only thing going for us is that he idolises Sir Kev and had posters of him on his wall as a kid 
Anyway...back to your source....is it for this season or next...because we sure as well need him for this season |

This is probably right, The Titans won’t want him playing for Leeds in case he picks up an injury. He will probably have a bit of holiday time while his visa comes through.

Please let this club source be correct. Hastings is exactly the player we need. I can’t see Salford letting him go this season though unless they are skint, which is a possibility. |

They are skint apparently, they would be mad to turn down a big transfer free for Hastings when they would get nothing at the end of the season.
They woukd still have Robert Lui who is better than any half back we currently have |

I also heard today that we beat Wigan to Hastings , but I refuse to believe it until it is official or when he is wearing a Leeds shirt. I know he has been seen at Headingley numerous times and loves Kev but I shall wait. Damn hope it’s true.

Fingers crossed, all makes sense when you piece all the bits of info together, lets hope.
After friday i wouldnt mind a fit lunt for the rest of the season, Dwyer was massively eratic and we dont need that now the pressures on. If the news is true, Lunt, if fit, would provide Hastings the right ball at the right time to play off, he's past his best but he's still an intelligent player. Dwyer can do what he does best and give us 30 mins of energy.
