That's what I was told. Dunno if its true or not.

I thought he caused a bust up in the camp just before playing London in France?
I think it was drink related IIRC and he’d just been done for drunk driving.
Then I can only assume something else happened at end of season.
IIRC the incident before the London appeared to derail our season a bit. We’d only lost 2 games prior to that and yet after that we lost 6 out 13.

To be fair he's clearly sorted himself out and is doing a great job on a shoestring budget.

He had a pop at some Warrington fans back in 2009 when we started the season badly, and he was head coach, he threatened to whack someone as he was leaving the field at Wakey.
That wasn't the first time either, i believe he clouted or almost clouted someone at salford in the crowd before joining us.
