Regardless of how bad Briscoe is defensively , and he is woeful , he is not helped by his inside defenders . How does Watkins escape criticism ? Offers absolutely nothing in attack and is a turnstile in defence . Barely Super league quality nevermind international .

I think you underestimate how much Hetherington will fear relegation. A cpl more bad losses and I think Furner will be out.

No one can tell me that Garbutt and Mullalley would not been an upgrade. It is fine off loading players, if you have better replacements lined up. We retained JJB, Ablett and Cuthbo. Why? Jobs for the boys and, I am sorry to say this, but Sinfield has to carry some of the can. Our pack is absolutely woeful. All I can see now is a scrap to finish second bottom. I am realist and knew that there was a rebuild to be done. I was there through the horrors of most of 1980s and 1990s and recognise that the 'golden era' was just that and unlikely to be repeated, but.......FFS!

Thought Watkins had a real good dig tonight to be fair, but he doesn’t look half the player going forward he used to. Hope he plays back into form, he’s a good lad.

We are just spending far too much time in D. Pinged a couple of times for scrappiness in the ruck.

Though Kasiano changed the game in his spells, just that injection of quality we’re struggling for.

Tonight wasn’t a bad loss though (aside from purely points-wise of course). The performances at Wigan and Saints were credible and of course Salford away.

If we keep turning up like that and Furner can find his best possible selection - and they are “if’s“ - we will win some fixtures like that one tonight and start climbing.

We've gone back to the ridiculous tactic of kicking for a scrum on the 6th tackle in the opponents half. We did it in the first half when we had the momentum. Said momentum was immediately surrended and they scored in their next possession.

I had enough of this appalling tactic last season. F'N STOP IT!!

Watkins is a class act and would have in my team any day I dont think the kid is fit and is down in confidence as a result That doesnt help Briscoe who as had a problem from being a young kid at ours, catching high balls

Really need more go forward up front then the backs can play on the front foot. Would love for shawn Edwards to come in and sort our defence out
