Seems like one of my better decisions not to renew my 2 season tickets for the first time in over 30 years. I get the "we should get behind the team" etc arguments. But that works two ways. This is an entertainment industry & Leeds have stopped entertaining (other than in a comedic/pathos kind of way). The powers that be at Leeds have lost sight of what keeps the crowds coming. I was happy to keep the faith for the past 3 years in the hope that the penny would drop. It hasn't....yet. Bargain basement imports, REALLY poor quality squad fillers, extended contracts for those not good enough & those past their useful shelf life, poor running of the academy (admittedly now reversed).
I shall return once Leeds RL decides to get ambitious & provide me with the entertainment I am prepared to pay for. I know, for some, that I am a "fair weather supporter/glory hunter", however I have been watching Leeds throughout the later 70s, 80s & 90s when we won virtually f*** all, but most of the way through that my memories are of excitement, optimism & ambition.

Looking for a positive, Peteru had a good game.

Perhaps the problem lies within both the club and its players.

They both seem to think that they have the right to be in the top echelons of the game.

On the other hand, London don't and knew that to get anything last night, they had to roll up their sleeves and put in a big shift.

That effort got them the points.

Leeds need to have that attitude now in order to save their season.

After Briscoe scored they seemed to think they had won and let London pick up momentum. Those last few minutes it was obvious London were going to snatch it

On Thursday night as soon as Saints got a 2 score lead they put their foot down, scored more and completely took the game away from Shuddersfield.
We get a 2 score lead then start kicking it into touch on the last play and people sat around me were applauding it as "smart play" while I sat there shaking my head. You've got to accumulate points when on top otherwise it comes back to bite you.
