We've been hit by two terrible knock-on calls (Merein and Hurrell) which both should have been penalties, but we're getting done in the middle with Ward and Parcell particularly losing every collision. They'll also attack Watkins and Sutcliffe all day becauae Kallum unfortunately doesn't look ready. Konrad s good though.

Tacklings been off but Lolohea has been bounced off a few times going too high.

Too early in the season and the game to worry too much, but we look like a team of strangers and Wire look settled as a unit. Letting them take the lead when they were a man down didn't bode well. Lets hope Furner can engineer a fight back ahead of the second half

First 10 minutes I thought was okay, but they're a good side who have had far longer to gel and it really shows. The fact we made nothing of the sin bin is most disappointing.

Pretty much as expected. Getting rolled down the middle and then giving it to the backs to bring us out of yardage, who are then getting hammered.
Most annoyed that Wire are playing second phase successfully against us - using the ball is our only way forward if we can’t match physically, and we’re even getting beaten at that!
All is not lost yet, but we’re going to have to do something different 2nd half to avoid an embarrassing scoreline.

Parcell must want off - 2 of the tries down to him plus he cant get to the PTB. Stevie Ward is sadly not a SL player on this

As poor as we’ve been, how we’re getting pinged and Warrington aren’t at the play the ball is beyond me.

Zero line speed in defence. Our tackle technique is very poor, we are putting bodies into tackles without either being effective at stopping the momentum or the offloads.

With the ball we look poor, no forward momentum therefore the halves look bad and the backs don’t get any quality ball.

Without some punch in the front row, it’s hard to see where this improves against the better teams
