Great to see that the Scholarship and Academy programme put in place 4 years ago now paying dividends. A good few years of hard work gone on by a lot of people im guessing?
Great to see really good numbers representing England at both Scholarship and Academy Level this year. As a watcher of both ages i can say that the future is really bright!! Well done all involved over the years Keep it going!
England beat Australia 14-8 at Leigh in awful conditions. It wasn't a day for expansive rugby, but England played the conditions far better. Harry Smith was particularly outstanding.
Thought it was noticeable that when Corey Johnson went off England lost control of the game. Soon as he returned England looked much better again. Muizz ran strongly as he always does.
As previously mentioned the Wigan 7 Harry Smith had a superb game and was best player on the park.
I expect a much better Australian performance on Friday night at The Emerald though.
