I certainly agree that the rebuild is vital but we have to be realistic about who is going to come firstly to the super league and secondly to Leeds. However, as much as it is primary to sort, let’s put last year into perspective - it was a poor season. Were we worse than Hull, Catalan, Wakey? 3 or 4 of the 1 point or close loss results go the our way and we’re back to hiding the now obvious issues. We need a leader and a true captain.

Of the 3 overseas players supposedly available, Parcel would definitely be the hardest to replace, unless the club already have someone lined up, obviously.

I think us and Hull were equally poor, Hull doing just enough first 23 rounds but stank the comp out in Super 8s. Wakey up and down but we were a million miles away from the rugby Catalans produce through the summer months up to the cup final.

That’s quite a huge turnaround and is some dead wood as expected.

I wouldn't be surprised if naming some of the overseas players as being able to go is down to wanting to shake them up a bit - putting them on notice that they haven't been playing to the standards expected of highly paid imports.
