Expected nothing more of Wigan - they have history with the alleged Bateman incident and of course their hand was forced with the Tomkins sisters (but secretly i bet they were glad Joelle was off their books)
I don't know whether I'm being cynical but I didn't expect anything else from Wigan and I would expect that any other SL club would have done anything different either. The draw of a quality player, the difficulty in finding a replacement if they show him the door and the vague hope that they will be the club that turns him around and gets his head straight. Leeds gave him several chances as did Cas. I expect that Zac will be contrite for a while and then have a brain fart at a critical point in their season at some point in the next 2 years. What a waste of tallent he is.
