There are very few halves in the world capable of this, definitely no-one in SL! Myler has done his best in a truly garbage team effort this year. I'm looking forward to seeing his link with Watkins/Briscoe next year, hopefully behind a pack capable of giving him a platform.

Rubbish is this thought process. Drinkwater and Hastings completely turned around the holes and back foot their teams were in. The better halfs always come up with something to change.

That said, I think Myler has shown he can do that, and has indeed done that at times. I too am looking forward to what he does with an half back partner with some quality and threat, as that for me has been the bigger issue for Myler this year.

The only thing rubbish is your attitude towards people who think differently to you. Why do you feel the need to personalise insults?

The point being that both Hastings and Drinkwater have looked great behind a dominant pack, but not so special when their forwards have been out muscled. Myler is no different to them in this sense.

There was nothing insulting in my post to you at all. Anyone can have a different view, but if it is not agreed with, it is not agreed with. Responding differently is not to insult. I simply said the thought process that people come out with about half backs not able to play well is rubbish. It is. Good players will always come up with something to change. You simply said NO ONE in Super League could do that, I gave you an example proving otherwise, and indeed even agreed with your point on Myler.

Did you see the NRL semi yesterday? The South’s forwards were very good, very much front foot, the backs, and inparticular the halfs were very poor. Catalans were in a rut and losing each week, they bring in Drinkwater and suddenly they are dominating, same team but a different half. Catalans needed Drinkwater, Drinkwater didn’t need Catalans to change, he did it.

Myler has played with pretty much same half back partners and behind pretty much the same pack as Mcguire did last season.

How has that HB partner & Pack performed in comparison?

When Myler played behind a similar pack to McGuire did last season he's looked very good.
Hopefully, we can get more stability into our starting line up next season.

Poorly overall, for various reasons imo.
The main one being injuries and lack of recruitment in the front row.
At half back Moon is a runner, and a good one at that when on form. To do that he needs a half back partner to do the organisation and a pack to get us going forward. McGuire provided the former last season. This season he has had neither most of the time.

Moon hasn't given a flying one in most games this year he along with many others haven't had the stomach or grit for battle.

I appreciate many on here have made that assumption about Moon, and it may well be true, but he has not had the support around him he had last year.
