It would be great if they came up with a good performance to lift some of the gloom, going into next season with a bit of optimism would be a big bonus for most of us I think

Really would like us to win. But we have only won 3 games against Super league teams out of 14 and all three of those games were against Widnes.

But (and I'm trying to be positive here!) we drew against Wakefield and pushed Saints close in the not too distant past, the payers do have it in them, unfortunately are often than not they also have it in them to dish up a load of old tripe.

If the weekend form shown by the respective teams is reproduced then we lose IMO.

Leeds lose to Salford
Widnes beat Halifax
Toronto beat Toulouse
HKR beat London.

I would really like to turn over Salford but I don't think we have it in us 5 days after the Widnes game. We look lost at times with no creative play

This is a very poor Leeds team, but I think they are capable of better than they are playing

I'm going to go into this week with positive thoughts so these are all heart versus head.

Hastings 2 match ban, Burgess 1 match ban. So even with an early guilty plea can't see Hastings playing on Friday

Ward missing again. A big decision will have to be made if this carries on

Needs a big season next year

When is Ward's contract up? I wouldn't for a minute think of getting rid of him, but it might be more appropriate to renegotiate his contract so it's more loaded around when he's actually fit to play.

The kid is in a horrible run of luck for the last year or two. JJB had similar early in his career and came through OK, so let's not throw the baby out with the bathwater.
