Thanks for the memories Brian. Beating Wigan to win the GF and the treble has got to be my best moment in Club Rugby League. Then last season defeating Cas at OT without Sinfield and Peacock was a massive achievement. His ability to get teams peaking when it matters was second to none.
Only time will tell, but his successor has got a hard act to follow.

Can you imagine if it would be Powell, our country cousins would implode with fury, especially if it were announced before the game at the weekend...

I'd like to join the others on this thread in thanking Brian for some truly tremendous times in the last few years.

I think he should have left at the end of the season, whatever your thoughts on BM he has had a lot of success and sacking him now with no one else in place seems disrespectful and could do more harm than good at this critical stage

Agreed. They should have given him the same chance for a goodbye that Wigan are giving Wane. The timing suggests to me that there is a bit more to this than we're privy to via the media etc.
