For anyone attending the Grand Final on Saturday why not visit Hotel Football next to Old Trafford

Hotel Football will once again host a pre Super League Grand Final party in the Old Trafford Supporters Club in the Hotel. A galaxy of Rugby League legends that will be interviewed by former Super League referee Karl Kirkpatrick during the afternoon. The event will start at 1330 and will entertain Rugby League fans until kick off. s a An admission fee of £2 will be charged all of which will be will be donated to the Steve Prescott Foundation.

Are the drinks prices reasonable?

We were thinking of Wetherspoons.

Anyone know why Ryan Bailey seems to dislike Cas (and I can only assume Luke Gale ) so much ?

The major concern i have is that at no point this year have we looked like beating them & not once contained their ruck speed.
On the flip side they've always had answers to our threats.
Of course we can win but i think we need to put in our best performance since the 2015 GF & do it for the full 80 minutes.

The home defeat to them was worst than the usual hammerings. We were seriously dreadful with the ball that night. I'm not even sure we completed a set?! Must have been a record for Leeds knock ons too?!

Agree. They basically scored both our tries for us that night IIRC.

I may be doing 2+2 and making 5 here but wasn't Powell Leeds coach when Bailey got in trouble (but not by the time he returned and had probably his best spell under Smith)...

Anyway back to the game.

I heard today (and was really surprised) that despite the deserved plaudits their attacking play is getting, the 10pt cushion and massively superior pts difference in the table Cas only scored [uone[/u more try than Leeds in the super eights!!

Cas have been on Easy Street for the entire super 8s, even playing their u12s for one match.

Absurd amount of desperation on here. Keep clutching.

What I find interesting is that in 2015, arguably one of our best ever seasons. We won the league leaders shield with 41 points. Only 1 more point than this year which got us second. I know there's an argument to suggest the comps not as strong. But it really shows how much we've turned around from last year.
