| There are only 5 possible games to go this season so surely the powers that be have some clue as to the make up of next years squad ?? So far we are all underwhelmed by our signings of two out of contract halves who weren't going to have their contracts renewed by their current clubs !!!
The money saved on McGuire/Burrow, surely the highest paid at the club, should really be better spent.
We have an ageing pack, Galloway's injury will just mean we will see him finish his last year plodding away. We still hve no news whether JJB is continuing ? what about Sutcliffe, we've tried half back, full back and and he's not good enough for any, but my sense tells me that GH will want him at , keep Moon at halfback which will save the club money. I cant guess what the club have in mind for next yer, maybe their hoping for a trophy which will then ease their recruitment problems. It would be nice to be kept informed though ???

| I actually think that given a full off season - Sutcliffe could be a decent centre and that Myler / Moon could be a good half back partnership. Dwyer / Parcell will also be a good interchange. Agree the pack isn't good enough but other than that, I don't think the squad is too far away tbh. Get a decent prop in and a decent 2nd row to replace Ferres / Delaney or Ablett

| We will have a similar squad to this year it seems. Myler is pretty much like for like for McGuire and it looks on the face of it we will be going with what we have again. We are a steady team, i'm not going to predict any massive demise and think we will still be comfortably in the 8's again next year but i think any successes moving forward will be dependant on our rivals and how they strengthen and perform as the squad is lacking in a lot of areas to be a dominant force.
The likes of Cas and Hull seem to be learning and improving each year. Saints now look to have a decent coach again and will only improve and Wigan will surely not have an injury list like they had most of this year. Warrington will be looking for massive improvement so that's 5 teams who have potential to be stronger than us. Then you have a few aspiring teams like Salford and Wakey lurking i think it will be tougher next year for sure if it's the same coach and similar squad.
would be great to see a couple of inspiring signings. a bulldozing, offloading back row and a controlling half should be top of the list but looking pretty unlikely for me.

| Meltdown mode when Parcell leaves
I think we need two decent props, a back rower, a winger + a controlling kicking HB

| James Graham verbally agreed to 3 year deal with St George... looks like he's finishing his career down there. Don't blame him our comp is appallingly average.

I doubt that has anything to do with his decision, down to money pure & simple.

Sadly i have to agree.
That said JG could still come back to SL at 34 for a couple of years and still be a top prop imo if he fancies it, can't blame him for taking one last big contract in the best comp.

Absolutely, I'd love to see him back here but he does right staying in Auz. Great player.

| He's past his best IMO, I doubt he'll last another 3 years down there.

He is past his best but I did wonder if he might regain some form under a different coach or at a different club. The Bulldogs have gone stale under Hasler a bit like Souths have under Maguire.
I'm not sure St George is a good choice though. They looked hopeless at times versus the Bulldogs at the weekend.
