Keinhorst only just returned, Moon for all the is he a HB talk has performed well and if he moved him back to centre McDermott would have gotten stick for that call. Handley didn't take his chances and it's understandable why you wouldn't pick Walker and Golding as a winger isn't a gimme that he'll work there. Very easily we could pick him there next week and have threads saying "Golding will never make a winger". Thing is if you offered him a new starting singer for next season he probably would snap your hand off for it, but he's not the one to make that happen.

Am I the only one who is more worried about the lack of kick pressure and then blockers than Briscoes ability?

Sneyd was actually walking with the ball in hand before he kicked it at that weekend - he had an absolute age to pick his kick and hit them sweet.

Sure, Briscoe had a shocker (and is out of form long term), but it's a team game, and his mates badly let him down. If you see your mate having a shocker like that, the least you'd do is make sure the kicker was put under pressure and finish on his backside every time, and as his immediate inside man, you'd be blocking anything coming through - legally or illegally. His team mates hung him out to dry, and if I was the coach, I'd have read them the riot act publically - Briscoe would be getting a private word about why I've supported him publically, and what I expect in return!

The shoulder issue is a fact. My source basically works on his shoulders every day.

So I agree that kick pressure was nonexistent. It's a knock on effect from the hull pack dominating ours. Simply not enough gas in the tank to charge the kicker

This is patently not the true source of the problem - Leeds have not charged a kicker (one or two exceptions apart) for 15 seasons, which included our extremely dominant era. During all those games when Brough kicked us to death not once did we ever pressure him.

The only exceptions I would make are that we occasionally did in "crunch" games like CC Finals & GFs (& before you reply, yes I realise that Saturday was quite a "crunch" game, but it just hasn't been the Leeds "way" & they have obviously been coached not to do so).

I dont buy it that the kick pressure was off because they were gassed with the forwards dominated, it was simply not the case, there were many kicks where leeds should have had plenty in the tank to put sneyd under pressure but were too lazy.
