This has to end the McD era, and in some ways it's a shame to end like this. He's overseen some fantastic success, but the way we have fallen away in the last 18 months is shocking. If this doesn't drive change then what will?

My point was that they certainly were lauded as such until relatively recently. How many games in the last season or so have we seen them given good early ball, with an attacking line up (not flat) allowing them to run onto the ball at pace? No one knows if they have suddenly become crap players, but I would bet if you put any one of Watkins, Moon, Briscoe and Hall into Cas' side, they would look like world-beaters again.
Put it this way, would you really swap those four for the equivalent 4 at another club? Management change required. |

You replace him with a coach that can build proper structures and get the best of the talent he has available.this current coach has been a Leeds great no doubt but he has run his course, its time for a fresh voice and a new direction simple as that. |

I've missed most of tonight's game (thank god) only caught the last ten minutes or so. Has anyone in a Leeds shirt come out of this game with some credit? Think particularly young Baldwinson who it's nice to see back on the bench.
The interesting thing is obviously what happens next. How do Leeds respond going forward, considering even in good years we tended to have one shambolic performance a year. (Maybe not this bad, but thinking of the Sts red hair game).

Tigers Demolish the Rhinos The Leeds Rhinos travelled to Castleford Tigers as underdogs, a rare occurrence in recent games between these two near neighbours. With two big wins in their opening two fixtures people were already talking about the home side as title contenders, but a win tonight was crucial for local bragging rights.
Rangi Chase was the only change for Castleford as he is serving a one week club suspension for an 'off the field incident'. Amongst a long list of Rhinos players unavailable for selection Rob Burrow was ruled out earlier today with stomach bug meaning coach McDermott would bring Jordan Lilley back from his Bradford Bulls loan as cover.
Few people would have predicted what was about to unfold.

Parcell did some decent things that his teammates didn't take advantage of. Moon kept competing but only so much you can do without support.
One of our kickoffs was pretty good. |
