Looks a class act on the old YouTube. Brisbane and manly fans only have good things to say but it is worrying that for some reason he's spent less then 12 months at each club. I wonder if he'll stay the full 3 years with us....and what kind of deal we've made with manly.

He left Brisbane to get more game time. Bennett needed to give Kodi Nikorima more minutes so he didn't lose him like his brother and Andrew McCullough is their regular hooker.
Manly are a bit a of a mishmash right now, lots of signings in any position, and they've got Korosua at hooker. I'm guessing Manly didn't want to approach Korosau about leaving after what he went through last season so when Leeds made their interest known it was a easy decision for Manly. The majority of sides have their recruitment sorted, especially at hooker.
Manly get a fee, Leeds get a very good hooker and Seggy can get back on it with his mates. Everyones a winner.

Let's hope Parcell can be a force in Super League. Hopefully he'll be the full package like Segeyaro, with extra special delivery from dummy half... I guess he'll be kept under wraps until later in the festive season.

Well considering people have been taking the pi$$ the last 2/3 weeks about the "Plan B" comment saying it'll just be Burrow at hooker then they done ok to get someone at this stage of the season who looks hungry to come here and start, signed long term and is highly thought of. Granted he doesn't come with a large cv or too much known about him but you only have to look at previous NRL recruits at Leeds over the years to know that means little in terms of how well they go here. |
