I'm still waiting to hear from GH/BMcD what the recruitment needs are for next year. I'm hoping securing Segayaro until 2018 and a go forward half back as we cant possible be thinking of taking the chance on McGuire's body holiding up.
This would stop rumours etc if the powers that be would advise what the clubs policy/thinking is ??

Think that is key plus not aware they have signed a deal with JJB to go round again ( I am assuming he will do another year). Only other curveball I can see at moment are the Ablett retiring rumours but that sounds a strange one given his age. |

Thought NFT was 7, but the overseas quota was 5? Hence you can have players with EU work rights who count as non-fed trained but not on the overseas quota? |

There are far too many average plodders in that squad. Hand on heart you could only say that if fit our 2-5 and 9 look well above average. The rest of the squad just doesn't have any X factor at all. That's not to say the likes of Ferres, Ward, Garbutt etc aren't solid players, but there just looks to be a lack of class outside the threequarters.

I think your view is getting clouded by this seasons issues. Garbutt has been on of the best props in the comp, ward has all the tools if he can stay fit and done underestimate the importance of ablett. I think s decent hb combo will also get the nest out of the more workman like players. |

I think we have a good squad when all are pretty much available, but we are a quality half short of being able to compete for honours again imo. |
