According to McDermott this morning, McGuire's chances of featuring at Hull KR are "slim".

So expect him to be named on the bench and not used.

If Mcguire chances are slim then he probably won't be playing at all and it will probably him and Achurch left out of the squad.

Dont underestimate the impact of a guy like Lilly who is constantly talking and telling players where to go, even though he was poor against Hull with ball in hand he still provided us with a decent attacking shape

There has to be a purpose to the talking and directions though. Lilley stands there constantly pointing when the ball is 30 yards away. This is something he will learn over time. Maguire is a different level to Lilley. Maggsy has said he probably wont be fit this week but when fit he will be straight back in.

That's what a good organising half should be doing. Telling people where they need to be not just on that play, but on the one after and the one after that.

Is Smith still in Australia at the moment? If the plan is to give Segeyaro a breather and push Sutcliffe up to HB and Burrow to hooker then I'd rather we just gave Sam Hallas 15-20 mins as a straight swap and see how he'd go.
