| Quote FlexWheeler="FlexWheeler"The question is, will he stay?
If he doesn't, we're back to square one.

He's already signed for next year. Loves it here apparently.

I thought i had read he has signed until end of 2018.
Does he have a get out clause though? he does seem to be settling in nicely which bodes well.

Yep, that's my understanding too. All I know is that I am told he WILL be here next season. Can't say I know the finer details but the above info is from within the club.

| All bets will be off if he gets an approach from an NRL club in the winter, particularly with their financial clout and the crap exchange rate at the moment

Thing is surely his agent was looking around back in May/June to see if any NRL club were interested in signing him for 2017......they obviously wasn't. The various clubs over there are obviously happy with what they've got in the hooking role.

| Cuthbertson having his best game in ages and a proper hooker playing. In fact all the forwards apart from Achurch played 20% better.

| I think sometimes people have become accustomed to seeing hookers as basically dummy half scooters, but there's alot more to it. Chicko was class in those finer (BIG) aspects, the timing of the passes, the direction and height they hit a player. Suddenly, as if by magic we looked alot better going forward and the pack in both defence and attack had much more control over the opposition. It beggers belief that we've neglected such a crucial position, for so long.
Hopefully in chicko we've found the answer.

Baring one daft attempt in the first half Cuthbertson came with with a number of good offloads. 6 in total which is his 2nd highest number of the year and he was only on the pitch for about 20 mins. Lot of talk about how his offloading might have decreased because teams have 'found him out' but think it showed that it is the addition of a proper hooker with good distribution and right behind him to take in those offloads that is the crucial factor.
Like mentioned above he only came on after 30 mins, departed after 50 and didn't return so maybe he's got a knock, he looked knackered after his try and he'd not played many minutes with a HT break inbetween.

Galloway looked to benefit in a big way, seems to be hitting the line with momentum rather than standing and being walloped by 3 for little yardage, and was finding his front.

I couldnt agree more apart from that weve neglected such a crucial position. I just dont think there are many top class 9s around at the moment so its difficult to find one.
Segeyaro's dummy half play on Fri was superb. All done simply and at a pace that allowed forwards room to make yards. Falloon used to take a couple of steps to draw the markers but was so slow the defensive line were on top of the forward taking the ball in.
Segeyaro was superb on Fri and fingers crossed he stays. All his talk of loving it at Leeds could be severly tested if an NRL team offers him a deal tho unfortunately. If he wants to play Origin he will need to be in the NRL.
