Been saying for weeks that McGuire wouldn't make a massive difference, he hasn't the qualities we currently are missing..... Look at last year when sinfield was dropped, exactly the same, and people seriously expected us to be okay without signing a replacement?

Kidding ourselves thinking McGuire would be the man to lead this team round the field and control games he's just not that type of player!

A grip needs to be taken of this situation and quickly. We have plummeted from Treble winners to WBSLR in a few short months. A slide of this magnitude is going to take some stopping. GH needs to take a long hard look and get a grip before we find ourselves anchored to the bottom 4. Don't like to knock the team when they're down, but mediocrity is a long climb up from where we are now.

We need to accept this SL is gone, obviously. Get in the middle 8s and find some confidence and start the building for next year and start again. Still the CC to go for.

It is now undeniably alarming. The season is already finished....can't see how this can be turned around in time now for even the CC. Hope I'm wrong

Jesus, there is not much left to say. Despite the poor performances you would think the coach would at the very least be capable of instilling some desire in players, not even up to that. When a player like JJB shows no desire for you then you know things are definitely wrong. Those players do not want to play for this coach, that is clear.

On the way to the ground I was listening to the radio and an interview with McDermot, what an arrogant self obsessed man he is. All the excuses in the world, but no answer. To speak openly that he is playing unfit players is so poor. Then in a match where Galloway has an excellent first 20 mins, not to be seen again until end, Garbutt gets two ridiculous 10minute spells, but Cuthbertson is run ragged, off five back on. That last try, yes Cuthbertson missed, but that was the coaches fault, the guy was dead, he should never have been on at that stage.

Ridiculous selections from the start. Ruining Sutcliffes career by putting him in key roles when not up to it. Obviously falling out with certain players. These are not good teams we are playing and losing to, each of them have more out than us. But all of them gave a desire to win, which we don't have. Every team is attacking our right hand channel, and scoring with ease continuous. If doesn't matter who defends there it still happens, which tells you there is a problem with the defensive structure. You shouldn't need this many games to cotton on yourselves.
