Bit of a mouthful that though eh?

We nearly all swear in moments of high drama/frustration or anger but some of these chants are getting beyond what is wanted in a stadium of a considerable amount of woman and children . Its not funny , not clever and shows a lack of wit and shows a lack of decency . Come on guys we can make an atmosphere without it .

The club are working hard to eradicate these silly songs from Headingley. I've been assured the new South Stand will include a family section, an alcohol free section and will be heavily stewarded with anyone getting too loud or obnoxious ejected and their membership revoked. The terrace will also be "premium pricing" so that should disrupt the yobs along with the new smaller capacity. These initiatives are long overdue and the club are eventually hoping to make the entire South Stand all seated and thus more civilised. I'll certainly take a seat there and help point out the undesirables to the authorities. We're not football fans, we should be allowed to watch our sport in peace

Its just fans having a laugh, if you want a quiet polite crowd go watch golf or snooker
Ive been going since I was 4 years old and will be taking my kids when they are similar age, crowds are going to swear and make fun of the opposition, as long as its not racist or homophobic or sexist then no harm done imo

Also, a tip for those who dont like rowdy crowds, dont stand at the back of the south stand, even half way down is much more timid

JP specifically mentioned the south stand atmosphere as a reason for staying at leeds, kill that and you kill some of the appeal of playing for us
