It's great to see Graham Murray being remembered with a medal named in his honour for this weekend's World Club Championship game.
I was one of the fortunate to be taught by him at my local high school back in Penrith. Murray was a math's teacher while coaching down the lower grades at the Panthers.
He left early in 2002 and took up the full-time coaching role with the Illawarra Steelers.
So many people have a lot to thank Graham Murray for and I hope on Sunday all of rugby league comes together to remember him as we celebrate rugby league on the world stage.

He was a top man as well as being a fine coach. Not too sure about how his term at Leeds is described as ending in the link but no doubt he had a massive impact at Leeds and changed a few careers. A fitting tribute to him.

I believe it is the responsibility, of everybody at Headingley on Sunday, to Sing Graham Murray's barmy army as the teams come out. It is the least we could do for a man that touched both teams so much!
