Both are great games in their own right and people should get off their high horse in declaring one code better than the other. Two different sports -two different types of players/teams and both exciting to wch in their own way

I'm fine with people preferring one code over the other. It's when they come up with all sorts of conspiracy theory nonsense which just isn't borne out by facts that I start to wonder what planet they're on.

The idea that Carnegie are somehow anything other than a benefit to the Rhinos is ridiculous.

I'm not claiming that Carnegie aren't a benefit, but I wouldn't go as far as to say it's ridiculous to think otherwise. IIRC it wasn't that long ago the Rhinos were effectively subsidising Carnegie with payments from us to them?

I know it never would have happen ,but I wonder what kind of game would have evolved if the RFU had allowed broken time payments before the split?

They share facility's, agreed. But do they share the payment of the costs?

I too would like to know what Andy Gilder is referring to as a benefit.
