If he is a direct replacement for Achurch on the same deal then it's a definite upgrade with his potential far exceeding Achurch's. Looks like Achurch heading back to Aus.

If true, Leeds must be looking for a back-row forward capable of attacking link-up play with our back line. In this regard he would fit the bill provided he knuckles down and cuts out some of the behaviour I've seen others mention on these boards in the past.



The last thing we need is a disruptive influence in the squad with young players to bring through and others trying to reform (i.e. Hardaker).

I have zero idea how fair his off the feild reputation is but plenty of players do grow up and knucle down but still get stuck with the same image among supporters.

On the field he'd be a great signing (especially if its in place of Achurch, who unfortunately is just awful value as a squad player due to all the injuries)

However if Brian Mac thinks he can improve the lad why not take a chance. Whilst in his last season at cas I thought he looked a top class prospect. He never seemed to blossom at hull.

He may not catch the eye as much as he did at Cas but hes consistently one of the top tacklers in SL and also there or thereabouts in terms of meters. Given that he's also usually expected to be more than just a workhorse backrower that's a pretty good effort
